Preparation Instructions
- Combine boiling water, salt, butter* and cold milk according to chart below, in suitable size steam table pan or mixing bowl.
- Pour in potatoes per chart below. Stir by hand or use paddle mixer set at LOW speed – about 10 to 15 seconds. For best results, do not overmix – DO NOT WHIP. Serve.
Note: For a creamier mashed potato, stir in additional hot water or milk. For a firmer mashed potato, stir in additional potatoes. Less salt can be added if desired. *Margarine may be substituted for butter.
