Ingredients
  • 1 carton (2.25 pounds) Idahoan® SHREDS Hearty Cut Hash Browns with Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper
  • 3½ quarts hot water - 200°F (Fill carton to the fill line and close. Refresh for 10 minutes and pour off remaining liquid if any remains.)
  • 2 quarts oil (Your choice for cooking hashbrowns.)
  • 36 each biscuits (Prepared and hold for service.)
  • 3 quarts prepared sausage gravy (Prepared and hold hot for assembly.)
  • 72 slices Hormel® OLD SMOKEHOUSE® Bacon, Applewood (Prepared and hold for service.)
  • 72 each whole eggs (Prepared to customer request.)
Instructions
  1. Open the carton of Idahoan® SHREDS Hearty Cut Hash Browns with Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper, add the hot water to the fill line of the carton, and close. Or if rehydrating the potatoes in a bowl, add the 3.5 quarts of water, cover, and allow the potatoes to rehydrate for 10 minutes.
  2. Place 2 oz of oil onto 375 degree F griddle and place ½ cup of hash browns and cook on one side for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Place the hashbrowns onto the plate and assemble other items and present to the guest.
