1 bag (32.9 ounces) Idahoan® SHREDS Tater Tumblers® Unseasoned Mix
1½ quarts hot water
2 cups maple syrup (added to the hot water for uniform hydration of flavor)
1 pound cooked breakfast sausage (chopped)
½ pound cheddar cheese (shredded)
Instructions
Combine the hot water and syrup and whisk. Place into a bowl and add the Tater Tumblers® mix, ensuring there are no dry pockets. Allow to refresh for 15 minutes.
Allow the mixture to cool and then fold in the remaining ingredients.
Fry at 375°F until golden brown. Serve 5 to an order with a side of maple syrup or hot honey.
