Crispy Oven ?Fried? Chips

Ingredients
  • 1 bag (5 lbs) Idahoan® SLICES Unseasoned Potatoes
  • 3 quarts boiling water
  • 12 ounces olive oil
  • sea salt (to taste)
  • ground black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Boil water, add potato slices, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain well before using.
  2. Allow the potatoes to dry after draining. Lay the potatoes onto a greased sheet pan in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. Place into a 450°F oven for approximately 20 minutes or until crisp. Serve.
